Nashville band Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown just released their first full-length album, Wild Child, on January 22, 2013. 21-year-old guitar prodigy, Tyler Bryant was featured in the award-winning documentary Rock Prophecies and was handpicked to work on the score for Tim Burton’s movie Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The Shakedown consists of Caleb Crosby (drums), Noah Denney (bass) and Graham Whitford (guitar) who is the son of Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford . Tyler and the band have shared the stage with artists like Aerosmith, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Pat Benatar, Heart, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and REO Speedwagon. Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown released their first EP, From The Sandcastle in September 2011. Singles from the album were featured as an iTunes Discovery Download and in a promotional video for CBS’ new show “Vegas.” The album was also featured in the iTunes “Rock on the Rise” section for over eight weeks. “To play like this kid [Tyler Bryant] is the rarest of the rare.
