It's been 16 years since this Chicago native first touched the microphone, and nearly 6 years since the release of his first project. Born David Bradley III, TrePeace has been making an imprint in the "holy hip hop" genre with one official album, "The Giftrapper" and several mixtapes. With songs and lyrics that express praise, happiness, as well as pain, and sorrow, there's an immediate connection with audiences of all ages. Raised in a single parent home while his stepfather dealt with a tough cocaine addiction, Tre's music expresses testimony ranging from triumph over being homeless and poverty, to his struggle in relationships and everyday life. Through the tests and trials of marriage-hood, trouble with the law, failures in the workplace, this young man of God has plenty of reasons to be thankful. Stepping away from “holy hip hop”, Tre’ was sought out and signed with an indie label that was focused on positive music, not gospel. After 3 years of broken promises and music that didn’t truly represent who he was, Tre’ began hearing the voice of the Father, whose instructions, not to compromise, lead this MC back to where he belonged. A true lyricist and storyteller, mixed with a commercial sound, this up and coming minister of the gospel is a breath of fresh air to the industry. With a heart for God’s people, TrePeace seeks to change the lives of many nations with his God given gifts and talents.
