"Christmas, Then And Now" is a collection of three Christmas compositions.

The collection opens with, "Deck The Halls", which is composed of a traditional array of orchestral instruments that resound as though they were exuding from some snow-covered symphony hall that is nestled somewhere within the merry, bustling streets of Dickens-era London.

"Oh Come, All Ye Faithful" fast-forwards to what many consider to be the "Golden Era" of Jazz, namely the early 1900's all the way through the late 1960's. The piece is comprised of a simple drum/bass/piano trio with the hopes of offering a humble nod of admiration to a boy named Charlie, a man named Vince, and the blissful Christmas spirit of the era.

The third and final song is an original piece, entitled, "The Sound Of Snow", which was composed with one simple goal in mind: to encapsulate just one snow-flake sized speck of the wonder that Christmas brings (especially when that beautiful snow softly floats down from the heavens) into melodic form.

Have A Very Merry Christmas (And A Happy New Year).
