Old Man Brown’s newest CD release (2013) “Brand Me Immoral” was recorded in Baltimore at Peabody Conservatory and Wright Way Studios. It features guests from bands that have had a heavy influence on the band’s ever-evolving sound. Ivan Neville from Dumpstaphunk sings on the New Orleans influenced funk tune “If You’re Able”. Eric Lindell sings on the Leon Russell inspired “Never let Your Love Go”. Cris Jacobs from The Bridge accompanies the band on guitar on “Skankles”. Brand Me Immoral exhibits the bands maturing sound and writing, and it’s unique recipe for American soul music.
