Cozmic is the electro-pop project of vocalist, songwriter and producer Niche Tandon. The rhythmic music project is an exploration of the stellar connections between us, filled with glitzy reverberations of pop, garnished with an intimate, soulful delivery.
Having grown up in Los Angeles, Tandon’s time is currently split between Venice Beach and Brooklyn. His musical beginnings started just over ten years ago, where adolescent garage rock bands and hip-hop groups incrementally evolved into more impassioned involvements, resulting in him touring festivals and performing in a number of different projects and genres ranging from house, punk, world music and indie pop. This path led him to work with acclaimed artists and producers such as Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), Tim O’Heir (The All-American Rejects), Mike Gonsolin (Snoop Dogg) and Rami Beatz (Chris Brown), as well as perfecting his singing with renowned vocal coach Don Lawrence (Lady Gaga, Bono).
Through Cozmic, Niche seeks to spread an electrifying vibe, combining elements of indie rock and EDM into an eclectic yet relatable electro-pop musicality. His lyrical creativity examines the intersection of emotional hardships we endure, expressed through melodic intuitive positivity. His influences span styles and decades, and include subtle references to artists such as: Michael Jackson, The Fugees, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Coldplay, One Republic and The Chainsmokers.
Cozmic has just released his debut single “Back By My Side” which navigates the feelings that come with wanting someone back fiercely.
