"Roses Are Dead" is a digital only EP with five tracks in the electronica and ambient genre, and the tracks were created with a mix of analog and digital synthesizers, electronic and acoustic drums and percussion, and various sound effects and voice samples. "Bishop Stortford's Station" has a voice sample recorded on the train passing Bishop Stortford's Station from the airport to Central London. The last two tracks are simpler versions (with no voice samples) of the first two tracks. This EP is the seventh release in the chillout series of digital EP's that Homeless Balloon started releasing in 2012, and nine more EP's will be released in 2017. The album covers are using drawings by graphics artist Øystein Sjølie.
