From Daniel Deitrich
Life is hard.
From minor annoyances like taxes and Comcast customer service to legitimate tragedies like cancer and sex-trafficking, it's a pretty rough world out there.
But there is also beauty. Hope. Moments of overwhelming joy. Mountains, sunsets, friends, the laughter of a child.
Some of the songs I write are meant to be sung together in triumphant solidarity, others are more reflective, uncomfortably honest. Sonically, you'll hear straight up indie rock (think Death Cab, David Bazan) with hints of southern vulnerability (Jason Isbell, Ben Kweller, John Mark McMillan).
Thanks for taking a listen.
