My musical journey began at a very young age, growing under the influence of church music. At three years old I was going through my father’s chord book and by the age of twelve I was already on stage performing with the band.
At 17 years old I began studying classic composition at the Vincenzo Bellini music conservatory in Palermo, dreaming of becoming a film score composer. In the midst of my studies I discovered that my true musical passion lied within the stories that can be told with the combination of music fused with words.
In 2014 I won a scholarship to Berklee College Online and that is when I acknowledged that songwriting would be a defining element of my life!
In the summer of 2015 I performed at the Bluebird Café in Nashville (Tennessee, USA). It was this experience that made it clear to me that I longed to share my songs beginning with my hometown of Palermo.
After playing in many festivals and events around Sicily, in April 2016 my first EP “Barefoot” was released. It was recorded and produced in England by Nathan Mackenzie.
Within a year Barefoot opened a door for me to meet with Fabio Rizzo, founder of the record label “800A Records”. This relationship led to the production of my first long play “So Many Things”, coming out this autumn.
