Ty Dillon is an American Texas Country Music singer/songwriter. Originally from San Antonio, Ty made his way to San Marcos, Texas to establish his musical roots in a town of some of the best songwriters in Texas.
The story is told that Ty began singing before he was able to speak and at the age of 4, began to learn to play the drums. Growing up in a church family meant there were opportunities for stage time from a very young age but his most notable feature was at Community Bible Church in San Antonio taking the lead in his high school based worship team. Throughout high school, Ty also played drums for rock band First Heal until his 18th birthday. At this time, Ty left his drum kit to have his hand at the front man position. When Ty won his high school's senior talent show in a class of 700, he knew music was what he wanted to do professionally for the rest of his life. Since then, Ty has put out his first record, Self-Titled EP (April 2013), and is currently working on his first Full-Length record with 2014 single and title track Sunsets And Pickups, scheduled for release in April of 2015.
Ty had been a solo artist until the Fall of 2014 where he stumbled upon a group of musicians who challenged him to broaden his genre and push his music to the next level. This group became known as The Wilde Fire. When the whole band is playing, The Wilde Fire is a 6 piece Progressive Country/Americana group.
