About

An alt-rock trio hailing from Nashville, TN, Paper Route have been writing and performing together for upwards of a decade. During this time, Paper Route has toured the world with bands such as MUTEMATH, Paramore, and Imagine Dragons, among others. After a four year wait, their much anticipated third full-length album, Real Emotion, will be released on Sept. 23 through Kemosabe Records/Sony Music Ent. The band's new single "Chariots," which is featured in the upcoming FIFA 17 soundtrack, is currently at alternative radio. The exclusive WasteLand "Chariots" remix, premiering today, is free for NoiseTrade users.

Everyone who downloads this remix of "Chariots" for free will be entered to win a Real Emotion prize package, featuring: Real Emotion pill lapel pin; limited edition bandana; your very own bottle of Paper Route pills (side effects include real emotion); and a signed Real Emotion CD, in which the packaging folds out to build the art installation in which the band shot their album cover.

When the time came to select artwork for the album cover, main lyricist and frontman JT Daly, a lifelong artist, found visual inspiration from the themes emerging within the new music. Using mixed materials - prints, paint, and items such as an old TV, cassette boombox radio, playing cards, flowers, and a bowl of pill capsules - Daly and his longtime collaborative art partner Micah Bell crafted an immersive room installation, with all surrounding walls and floor draped with several individual pieces, each inspired by a track off Real Emotion. This video, filmed by Bree Fish and edited by Matt Eastin (dir. "On Top of the World" - Imagine Dragons, "Animal" - Neon Trees), shows the process of creating and building this installation.
