About    Credits

Most of the songs on this album are a result of long hours of waiting in airports and train stations. You know those times -- when you have nothing else to do but watch the world just move along, while you're sitting in between places and people. But those in-between moments offer a kind of inspiration that's hard to find anywhere else -- and all I've done is try to put a few of these moments into words and set them to music, and I had some fun with it along the way. As for the name of the album -- it's taken from the title of the second chapter in G.K. Chesterton's book, "Manalive". I suppose these twelve songs could be a kind of soundtrack to the life of an optimist -- the one who lives each day believing that he can be thoroughly converted in ways he never saw coming.
