Charlie and the Rays is a folk-rhythm and blues quintet founded by sisters Jordan and Rebecca Stobbe, and childhood friend Gracia Bridges, as they busked on the streets of Pike Place Market in the summers of their youth in their hometown of Seattle, WA. They draw influences from bands such as First Aid Kit, George Harrison, and Simon and Garfunkel to create a unique oldies sound with a new-school twist. Their music highlights three-part female harmonies and vocals, punchy brass melodies, acoustic and electric guitar, and folk-inspired harmonica.
