Apex Manor

About

After cutting his teeth in the much loved band The Broken West, touring with The National and The Walkmen while releasing two albums on Merge Records, Ross Flournoy found himself starting anew as Apex Manor. In an effort to spark inspiration, he entered an online songwriting contest hosted by NPR. The result of that initial effort, "Under The Gun", became the cornerstone to the first Apex Manor album, The Year of Magical Drinking. This compilation features songs from that album alongside choice tracks from both albums by the Broken West, including a rare demo version of "Perfect Games"; connecting the dots between both bands.
