The Ivy League Hillbillies Tour is a collaboration between cello soloist and two-time Grammy nominee Dave Eggar, New York songstress and winner of NPR Mountain Stage New Song contest Amber Rubarth, and violin virtuoso Tim Snider, whose live looping mixes globe-spanning sounds with classical chops.
As they toured the NorthEast and Appalachia they were joined by Eggar's Grammy nominated band Deoro (Chuck Palmer - drums and percussion; Ariel dela Portilla - bass),
world champion hammered dulcimer player Max ZT (House of Waters) and upcoming southwest Virginia band the Craig Street Ramblers.
