It only took six years for five Louisvillian bandmates to find their sound and move from school talent shows to national recognition. The simplified formula? A dis-banding of a prior project, a persistent local manager and a talented and determined producer who saw plenty of chemistry. From winning national battle-of-the-bands competitions in Nashville to being hand-selected among 6,000 entries by Nigel Lythgow of FOX networks 'Americas Next Greatest Band', these bluegrass locals have been kicking down doors in an attempt that people would pay attention; finally they received just that. Signing a management deal with Primary Wave Talent (Cee Lo, Volbeat, Cody Simpson) the band is now armed to extend their reach to a broader audience. A Lion Named Roar is Western/Pop with authentic sensibility.
